Amazing! My kelpie is a rescue so he isnt a working dog, he was showing signs of wanting to herd and so i bought him the large herding ball, it took a couple minutes for him to get the hang of it, but after that he was off! He was having so much fun and his instincts kicked in. He was having so much fun i had to take the ball of him and give him a break haha. I would highly highly reocmmend this ball for anyone with an active dog!

We offer flat-rate shipping Australia-wide for $9.99. For our International friends, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.
Delivery times will depend on where you live. Most Australian orders arrive within 2 to 8 business days.
Returns
If you would like to exchange/return an item you can do within 14 days or receiving your order. All goods returned must be unused and in perfect condition. If there are signs of play, we won't accept the goods due to hygiene reasons.
Herding Ball Size Guide
Which size is best for my pup?
Both balls play the same game - they just suit different pups.
- Small (45cm) is the sweet spot for smaller and mid-sized dogs, shorter legs, and tighter backyards. It's easy to get moving and easy to steer, so pups build confidence fast.
- Large (55cm) suits bigger, taller dogs with a long stride and plenty of drive. Roger's pick, and the go-to for pups who like a bit of a challenge.
The simple rule: the ball should be too big for your pup to get their mouth around, but not so big they can't push it. That's what keeps the game a push-and-chase game rather than a grab-and-chew one — and it's the single biggest thing you can do to keep the ball lasting.

The Herding Ball loves grass, sand and open space. If your pup plays hard and heavy, or your usual spot is gravel, rocky ground, bush tracks or hard-packed dirt, the Outback Herder is the better match — built tougher for pups who don't do gentle.

My boy Kobe is absolutely obsessed with these herding balls. I got the smaller one due to a smaller yard and it suits very well, however, its much more fun out in the open field at a friend's. Just look at his point of view I captured on camera. My favourite thing to see is when he jumps and boops the ball with his snoot in the air

Kaos absolutely loves this ball! 🐶💙 He loves pushing it with his nose, chasing it around and playing with it at the park. It keeps him active and happy, and he gets so tired afterwards! Definitely one of his favourite toys. 🐾

Sammy absolutely loves the ball. The only downside is it keeps sliwlt deflating. It doesn't stay properly inflated for 1 day which is a bit disappointing.
My girl loves her herding ball. 20mins and she is spent.

Fantastic product! Our 10 month old kelpie pup got the hang of the herding ball immediately. She is exhausted after being left to play for less than 15 minutes. Surpassed all expectations! Trudi went above and beyond when we had some delivery issues - thank you!

I brought this for my boys 2nd birthday. Unfortunately my dogs are chewers too and he managed to pop the ball in under 30 minutes. But they had so much fun before he punctured it. But the great part is the inner balls are replacable. And I'm sure they will get many more sessions and loads more fun yet.

Mia loves her herding ball. She even loves when we pump it up! Especially the noise the pump makes Her natural herding instinct is in full swing. I think its safe to say this ball has served its herding purpose.

Our boarder collie puppy loves his herding ball. After 15 minutes of play he is exhausted- panting and drooling like we’ve never seen him. After playing he always needs a big nap!

I am very impressed. Customer service from the time my order was placed has been pawsome 🐾 Great exercise for my big 1 year old Pup, he herds the ball around the yard with enjoyment showing all over his face. It tires him out in about 20 minutes, after a couple of minutes of rest then he is up chasing it around again. It’s a Paws Up from both Odin & myself 🐾

Our bluey Bonnie gets so excited when the ball comes out. In typical heeler fashion she herds, barks, nips, wrestles & jumps over it at high speed. 15 mins with the herding ball and she’ll be ready for a rest! Finally found something to both challenge and wear her out.

Our blue heeler loves the ball. 10 minutes and he’s exhausted. I like that it is not dangerous for his teeth ie. soft enough not to damage his teeth but durable enough to handle the snapping. He can’t chase a ball anymore after having a cruciate repair , so this exercise is perfect.
This is by far the best version of a herding ball I’ve found for my Bordie Collie. He LOVES it. The bounce is a winner! So far I’ve taken it out 5 times, without needing to pump it up. Very effective way to exercise your pup if you’re short on time.

Indi loves the ball. It's great play and exercise for both of us. She goes crazy with joy when it comes out. It lives in the bath and she spends time in the bathroom looking at it lovingly
