Herding Ball Warranty

At Hound & Co our herding balls are designed for enrichment, movement, and interactive play - and are trialled by a wide range of dogs before release.

WHATS COVERED

Our Herding Balls come with a 3 month warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturer faultysonly, including -

  • Faulty stitching and seams
  • Zip or material defects
  • Issues present before use

WHAT NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by dogs (teeth marks, punctures, tearing, chewing)
  • Incorrect use of not following inflation instructions
  • Use without the cover fitted correctly and tightly
  • Overinflation - Under Inflation
  • Damage caused by heat exposure (e.g. Leaving the ball in hot cars or direct sun, which can cause the inner ball to expand and split seams)
  • General wear and tear over time

Please not: Our toys are durable but not INDESTRUCTABLE and are designed for supervised play only.

MAKING A WARRANTY CLAIM :

  • Your Order Number
  • Clear Photos or video of the issue
  • A brief description  of how the product was used

All claims are assessed individually.  If a manufacturer fault is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund at our descretion.

 

From The Founder

The Inspiration Behind Hound&Co

Hi my name is Trudi and I am the founder of Hound and Co. Two years ago my family was lucky enough to welcome our little Roger the cheeky Australia Shepherd into our lives. Before Roger came along I did so much “puppy research” thinking I had all the answers, but nothing quite prepared me for what was about to come. In the early months he certainly was a handful, full of personality and cheekiness. I was covered in scratches, and he managed to put holes in most things I owned. I am sure he saw me as part of the pack, and it always seemed to be me that would bare the brunt of his razor puppy teeth. Roger went for plenty of walks, but I noticed even on the walks he really wanted more than exercise…. he needed mental stimulation and just wanted to PLAY !!

Step One

Where are all the durable toys?

I was always on the hunt for good durable toys that lasted or toys that would just entertain and keep him busy, I really did struggle to find anything. Roger would find a way to chew and destroy anything in sight and I was constantly stressed about what he was swallowing and could potentially choke on. Then I started to look online and source my own products, I found some great durable toys made from safe non-toxic materials which was just what I was after.

The family spent hours playing with Roger with these toys and I started to notice a difference in him. His anxiety, stress and frustration settled, and he became a much happier relaxed little guy. It also helped us all form a great bond just through play!! That is when I decided to help other pup owners and bring these great toys into their lives. That is when Hound&Co was created.

I really do believe that taking time playing with your pup take us into their world. It allows their natural instinctual behaviours to come out which makes them enriched and happy !! The reward is having a content happy pup that will enrich your life…. and it is so worth it.
